71- Bob the traveler dog
This story starts back in 1882. Bob was a German Collie and one of the most famous dogs in Southern Australia. It had a strange love towards trains and railways. From its early years, it used to follow the railway workers to their work. This continued until it was captured one day as a stray dog. Fortunately, not long afterwards, a train station guard bought it and Bob was brought back to the railways. His owner even took it with him on board the trains. However, when the station guard got promoted and the train journeys stopped, Bob decided to go on these train journeys by itself. It traveled to almost all Southern Australia till it became well known and welcomed by all. The most famous traveling dog in the Australian history went on his continuous trips until his death in 1895.
